6 Months!

 He's 6 months old!!!

Half a year has gone by already?!?!!  At Liam's 6 month appointment he weighed in at 18lbs. 6.8oz and a whole 26 5/8 inches tall!  Such a growing baby!  A few days after Liam turned six months he officially started crawling!  We have a very mobile baby.  He is such a blessing and we are so very lucky to have him in our life and as our son.  We love you LIAM!!!

5 months old!

Our little Liam is growing so fast!

After we came back from Texas we had is 4 month doctors appointment.  There he received his shots and we were told we could start him on solids.  He now eats Avocado, oatmeal cereal, Summer Squash, and Banana.  We sit him down in his highchair around 6 every night and we all have dinner together.  With the solids he also has a sippy cup full of water.  He just played with it in the beginning, but now he's actually drinking water!
He's in his exersaucer almost everyday.  He loves it!  

He in very much in the pre-crawling stage.  He in on his hand and knees constantly and even gets on all fours sometimes!  We think in the next couple of weeks he'll be crawling.  Time to baby proof!

He's also starting to drool a lot more....are teeth in our near future?!?

We went to the Aquarium this month and Liam loved looking at all the fish in the fish tanks.  We have so much fun watching him explore new things.

We are so blessed to have Liam in our lives.  He sure is a bundle of joy.

4 Months

Liam turned 4 months in Texas!  We all, dogs and cat included, drove down to Texas for a month.

on that trip he learned to hold toys, go after toys, he went swimming for the first time, sat on a horse, hauled hay, met lots of new people, played in a walker, and so much more.

on July 11th he weighed 16lbs 1.4oz (75%) and was 25 1/4 inches long (64%)

He really loved our trip and so did we.

Liam's Gestation

3 Months!

3 months already!?!  

Liam is growing by leaps and bounds.

The day before he turned three months (5/23) he learned to roll over from back to front!!  Its only on his left side but he has for sure mastered it! He has been trying for a few days now and kept getting frustrated and crying because he couldn't turn himself over.  Mama and Papa knew it was coming so we had the camera ready!! ( though I haven't converted the video yet)  I was such a proud and sad Mama the moment it happened.

Now once you lay him on his back he easily rolls over, with no fussing.  At least he can't do it swaddled yet...once that happens...no more swaddle.

Rolling over is just the start of what mobility is to come but I still can't believe its already here.

 

Liam also loves his doorway jumper!!  He's a big 3 month old so we feel secure putting him in it before he's 4 months.  We placed him in it for the first time on May 12th.  It was so much fun watching him try to figure it out and how excited he got when he got it to bounce!

Liam and I are out of the house almost everyday.  We go to different mom groups throughout the week.  Its so exciting seeing him interact with other babies.  He even learns things from them too!  This young!

Liam still talks to us daily and has seemed to found his voice as he like to be part of the 'choir' at church and just throughout the day.  His sleeping schedule has been fluctuating as he continues to grow.  A favorite is to sleep in Mama's arms.  He now weighs almost 15 lbs!!!  Our little Chunka Munka has filled our hearts with so much joy.  We are so thankful to God for giving us such a blessing.

We Love you Liam!  More than you know.

Mother's Day

I woke up on Mother's Day, my first, to smell of eggs, sausage, and waffles being made!  Kevin went all out.  While Kevin was in the kitchen I enjoyed spending some one on one time with Liam during his VERY talkative time.  He kept smiling at me and, I assume, telling me everything on his mind :-).  Liam gave me a bouquet of flowers and a gift certificate for a Spa Day!!  

After Breakfast we went to the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain.  We took the "T" in since we heard parking would be terrible.  It took about an hour to get there from our house, not too bad.

We met a few friends there, who were also celebrating their first mother's day, and decided to have a picnic together.  The Arboretum was showcasing their blooming Lilacs and had all kinds of activities, dancers, bands, and food.

The weather that day had its ups and downs.  In the beginning it was very cold and windy, but then the sun came out and shared its warmth so that made the whole day that much better.  

I really enjoyed spending a relaxed Mother's Day with my boys.  Being a mother is more wonderful than I ever imagined.  I love that little man more than I thought possible.  I love my family and I am truly blessed.

First trip to New York

Liam had his first trip to New york on April 30th.  This was his first time to meet all our New York family.  We have a lot of family there and it was great to show everyone our SON!  

My Abuela met her Great Grandson Liam for this first time!  It was very heart warming seeing her with Liam.  He kept smiling and talking to her.
